Senior Machine Control and Machine Guidance Engineer

A multinational free zone manufacturer of machinery is recruiting a Senior Machine Control and Machine Guidance Engineer having at least 3 years of experience in installing, calibrating and supporting machine control / guidance systems on site. You will lead a site team (engineers, technicians, operators or surveyors). Knowledge of GNSS/RTK, laser guidance, machine sensors and 3D design data. Prior experience in GCC infrastructure, port, airport or oil & gas projects; and any GCAA drone pilot certification and drone survey experience is preferred but not essential. . Job Description • Install, calibrate and support machine control / guidance systems (Komatsu iMC, Trimble, Topcon, Leica) on excavators, dozers and graders. • Set up GNSS base / rover and site localization; load 3D design data and verify accuracy. • Troubleshoot hardware, sensor and software issues; coordinate repairs and parts. • Train customer operators, survey teams, distributors and internal staff. • Lead and mentor the field survey team; set priorities and allocate resources. • Own standard procedures (installation, calibration, drone operation, safety) and drive service improvements. • Act as technical lead for key customers; support sales with demos and site trials. Skills • Strong leader who takes ownership and makes confident decisions on site. • Patient trainer; explains technology clearly to operators and engineers. • Customer-focused. • Careful about safety, records and data accuracy. • Comfortable working outdoors and independently; willing to travel across UAE / GCC. • Skills: machine control software, MS Office; survey software (DJI Terra, Pix4D, Trimble Business Center, Civil 3D) an advantage. Education • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil or Geomatics Engineering (or equivalent). • Certification in automation, surveying or drone operations is an advantage.
