To prepare accurate cost estimates, quotations, and tender submissions for plumbing and firefighting projects, ensuring competitive pricing and compliance with project requirements. Key Responsibilities: Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements. Prepare detailed cost estimates for plumbing and firefighting systems . Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and BOQs. Calculate material, manpower, equipment, and subcontractor costs. Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. Prepare RFQs and coordinate with suppliers for competitive prices. Analyze project specifications and identify scope of work and exclusions. Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions. Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, engineering, and project teams during the tendering process. Identify discrepancies, missing information, and variations in tender documents. Ensure estimates are accurate and submitted within the required deadline. Assist in preparing value engineering and cost-saving proposals. Maintain records of previous estimates, supplier quotations, and project cost data. Participate in tender clarification meetings and provide necessary technical/commercial clarifications. Follow up on submitted tenders and assist with negotiations when required.
