About this opportunity

Oversee and manage the safe and efficient operation of marine vessels and associated equipment, ensuring compliance with all maritime regulations and company policies. Coordinate vessel movements, cargo operations, and crew assignments to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime. Monitor vessel performance, including fuel consumption, speed, and navigational data, implementing corrective actions as needed. Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on vessels and equipment, identifying and rectifying any potential issues. Possess a relevant maritime degree or diploma (e.g., Nautical Science, Marine Engineering) or equivalent practical experience. Hold valid STCW certifications and any other required maritime endorsements for the specific vessel type and operational area. Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in marine operations, with a proven track record in vessel management. Strong understanding of international maritime laws, safety regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL), and vessel operational procedures.
