Environment Supervisor For Oil & Gas Shutdown

About this opportunity

Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable Qatar and QatarEnergy environmental laws, standards, and MOE regulations; preparing and maintaining the Environmental Aspect Register for all Turnaround (TA) activities; ensuring proper segregation, handling, labeling, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste in accordance with QatarEnergy Waste Management coordinating with QatarEnergy for environmental and industrial hygiene activities; ensuring adequate skips and vacuum tankers are available for waste and sewage removal; maintaining all required environmental approvals and documentation; ensuring chemicals and associated waste are handled as per MSDS requirements; preventing chemical/hydrocarbon discharge into plant drainage and reporting environmental incidents; maintaining good housekeeping and hygienic conditions at work and office areas; and reporting all environmental activities to the QatarEnergy Environment Coordinator or designated representative.
