Glass Technician

About this opportunity

Measure, cut, install, replace, and repair glass products. Install glass doors, windows, mirrors, partitions, shower enclosures, shopfronts, and other glazing systems. Read and understand drawings, measurements, and installation instructions. Install and adjust aluminum frames, channels, fittings, hinges, handles, and other accessories. Apply silicone, sealants, adhesives, and glazing compounds correctly. Remove damaged or broken glass safely and prepare areas for replacement. Inspect completed work to ensure proper alignment, fitting, finishing, and safety. Use hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, suction lifters, and other glass installation equipment safely. Identify and report damaged materials, installation problems, or safety hazards. Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and other workers on site. Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. Follow all company health and safety procedures and use required PPE. Keep the work area clean and organized. Perform other duties related to glass installation and maintenance as assigned.
