Safely and efficiently perform maintenance and repair on overhead and underground electrical distribution lines, ensuring system reliability. Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in the distribution network, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to minimize downtime. Install, maintain, and replace components such as transformers, fuses, switches, and conductors according to established procedures. Operate and maintain specialized equipment, including bucket trucks, digger derricks, and cable pulling machines, with a focus on safety protocols. Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in electrical line work is highly preferred. Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program for electrical lineworkers. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in electrical distribution line maintenance. Valid Journeyman Lineman certification or equivalent.
