About this opportunity

Content & Growth Contractor STREAKLEAGUE • SETTLE • SHOTBOX Detail Value Engagement 3-month contract, renewable based on performance Start Immediate Location Remote (async, any timezone) Base compensation $800/month fixed Performance bonus Up to $400/month tied to organic installs Role Summary We have three mobile apps — all live on iOS and Android. We need one person to own content creation and organic distribution across all three, working autonomously with weekly check-ins. This is a hands-on execution role. You create short-form video, post it, seed communities, research creators, track performance, and report results. The founder provides strategy, concepts, scripts, and final decisions. You turn them into high-quality work and execute consistently. This is not a social media management position (scheduling posts someone else made). It is also not a Head of Growth role. Success requires both creative production and disciplined follow-through — with enough autonomy that the founder doesn't manage you daily. The Apps App What it does Stage Your effort StreakLeague Competitive habit tracker — friends join leagues, check in daily, miss a day and get eliminated. An AI commissioner called The Ref narrates everything. Live, both stores 60% Settle Group decision app — kills the "where should we eat" loop. Everyone votes, the app decides. Live, both stores, early 25% Shotbox Screenshot organizer — saves, tags, and searches screenshots using on-device OCR. Live, both stores, minimal 15% What Success Means Success is not measured by the number of posts, followers, or likes. Those are diagnostic signals. The purpose of this role is to help generate activated users and useful learning. Product outcomes that matter • StreakLeague: real leagues created, invitations accepted, members activated, elimination cards shared, leagues continuing into following weeks • Settle: real polls created and shared, votes completed, decisions settled, voters becoming poll creators • Shotbox: users completing a useful screenshot action, returning, starting a trial, or subscribing Compensation & Accountability Base: $800/month contingent on hitting weekly content targets. If content targets are missed for two consecutive weeks without communication, the base pauses until output resumes. Performance bonus: up to $400/month Tied to organic installs across all three apps, tracked via UTM links and store analytics. Month $200 bonus $400 bonus 1 50 organic installs 100 organic installs 2 150 organic installs 300 organic installs 3 400 organic installs 750 organic installs You own the install number. The content you create, where you post it, which communities you seed, which creators you engage — all of it flows into that one metric. We don't micromanage how you get there. We care that you get there. What counts: organic installs tracked through UTM links in your content plus direct store search installs during the contract period. Paid installs from boosted posts are excluded (that budget is separate and provided by us). Exit clause Two consecutive weeks of missed content targets without communication ends the contract. Clean handover of all accounts, credentials, content assets, and trackers within 48 hours. Division of Responsibility The founder owns • Growth strategy, product positioning, and weekly priorities • Core messaging, offers, claims, and calls to action • Creative concepts, scripts, and briefs • Paid-media strategy, budgets, targeting, and campaign decisions • Product changes, pricing, contracts, and commercial approvals • Final approval on all content before publication You own • Turning approved briefs into strong videos, graphics, and posts • Publishing approved content accurately across all platforms • Researching and seeding relevant communities • Creator research, outreach, and follow-up • Responding to comments and messages using approved guidance • Maintaining all trackers, files, links, and results • Weekly performance reporting • Flagging blockers early and suggesting execution improvements Main Responsibilities 1. Short-Form Video & UGC Content • Turn supplied scripts, hooks, screenshots, app recordings, and briefs into 15–45 second vertical videos • Create product demos, relatable scenarios, screen-recording stories, reactions, before/after narratives, and UGC-style content • Strong first-three-second hooks — show the product or outcome early • Clean captions, subtitles, transitions, sound, and platform-native elements • Create hook variations without duplicating the same video • Adapt packaging for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, and YouTube Shorts • Maintain reusable editing templates and organized project files per app • All content must feature real app UI — no generic motivation posts You will not normally appear on camera. If a concept requires a face-to-camera creator, you may source or coordinate an approved UGC creator. 2. Static Creative & Graphics • Mobile-first graphics, carousels, product cards, comparison layouts, and memes from approved concepts • Platform thumbnails, covers, story assets, and community-ready cards • Maintain separate Canva or Figma templates per app • Check spelling, branding, safe margins, readability, product accuracy, and destination links before submission 3. Social Publishing & Account Management • Manage TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and other assigned channels for all three apps • Publish each asset to the correct account with correct link, caption, CTA, hashtags, and formatting • Maintain a weekly content calendar and publication log • Adapt captions and packaging per platform — no identical cross-posts • Monitor comments and messages; respond using approved product info; escalate bugs, complaints, and sensitive issues 4. Community Research, Participation & Seeding Community activity creates genuine conversations and recruits relevant users. It is not mass link-dropping. • Research suitable Reddit communities, Facebook Groups, Discord servers, and approved communities • Read and record community rules before posting • Participate with useful, relevant, natural comments • Publish approved posts, demos, challenges, polls, or cards only where allowed • Record recurring user language, objections, feature requests, and product confusion App-specific community focus • StreakLeague: fitness/accountability groups, student/founder pods, gym accountability, habit challenges, friendly competition, WhatsApp groups • Settle: food/restaurant decision groups, friend groups, travel planning, group organizers • Shotbox: productivity, digital clutter, personal knowledge management, screenshot organization 5. Creator Research & Outreach • Research TikTok, Instagram, YouTube creators whose audience fits each app • Evaluate views, engagement quality, audience relevance, location, content quality, and product fit • Maintain a qualified shortlist with evidence, contact method, status, and next action • Send approved, personalized outreach referencing the creator's actual content • Follow up politely and record all replies • 5 new creator DMs per week minimum (prioritize StreakLeague fitness/habits niche) You may not approve payments, sign contracts, promise commercial terms, or commit the company independently. 6. Tracking & Reporting Maintain accurate shared trackers (Google Sheets) covering: • Asset name, app, concept, hook, format, CTA, file links, approval status • Publication platform, date, account, URL, caption, tracking link • Views, watch time, saves, shares, comments, profile visits, link clicks • Attributed installs, activation events, trials, subscriptions (where available) • Communities researched, rules, posts, comments, removals, feedback • Creators researched, outreach sent, replies, fees, deliverables, outcomes • Blockers, product feedback, recurring questions Reporting must distinguish confirmed data from estimates. Never claim an install or trial came from a specific asset when attribution is unavailable. Weekly Deliverables Every Friday, you send one message with: • Content log: what was posted across all three apps, with links • Performance numbers: views, engagement, saves, shares per post (Google Sheet link) • Install numbers: organic installs per app for the week • Top performer: which post won the week and why you think it worked • Next week plan: what you're producing for each app (3 lines per app max) • Blockers: what you need from the founder If nothing is blocked, no call needed. If something is blocked, a 15-minute async voice note or short call. No slide decks. No status reports. Just numbers and links. Expected Weekly Output After the onboarding period. Priorities may shift weekly and management may concentrate output on one app when evidence warrants it. Content production • StreakLeague: 7 original short-form videos, published across assigned channels • Settle: 4 original short-form videos, published across assigned channels • Shotbox: 2 original short-form videos, published across assigned channels • Daily static posts, carousels, thumbnails, and story assets for all 3 apps • At least 3 hook variations for priority concepts Community activity • Research 5–8 new qualified communities per week • 1–3 approved original community posts • 10–15 useful, relevant comments across communities Creator activity • 5 new personalized creator DMs per week • Follow up on all active conversations • Keep shortlist fully updated These are planning ranges, not permission to sacrifice quality. One strong, well-executed experiment is more valuable than a large volume of generic content. Do NOT Apply If • Your experience is managing social media accounts (scheduling posts someone else made) • You can't produce video — you only write copy or create static graphics • You need daily direction or approval before every post • Your portfolio is generic motivational content with no product in it • You've only worked B2B or e-commerce • You need a team under you to execute Content & Account Standards All work must be truthful, original, respectful, and consistent with platform and community rules. You must not: • Fabricate reviews, testimonials, personal stories, users, comments, or results • Use fake accounts, impersonate users, or hide commercial relationships where disclosure is required • Ask for artificial engagement or manipulate votes, comments, or reviews • Copy competitor scripts, footage, designs, claims, music, or brand assets • Use copyrighted material without permission • Send mass generic creator messages or duplicate promotional posts across communities • Publish links or promotional content where prohibited • Make claims the product does not support • Change passwords, permissions, ownership, billing, or campaign structures without written approval • Launch paid campaigns or approve creator payments independently • Report estimated attribution as confirmed fact How The 3 Months Work Week 1: Onboarding You receive content concepts for all three apps (StreakLeague: 7 concepts with full scripts; Settle: 2; Shotbox: 2), brand guidelines per app, Pro access to all three apps, and social account credentials. You produce your first 3 StreakLeague videos + 1 Settle + 1 Shotbox. Weeks 2–4: Full production Hit weekly content targets. Community seeding begins. Weekly reporting starts. First install numbers tracked. Month 2–3: Optimize You have data. Double down on what converts. Kill what doesn't. Propose new concepts. Best-performing posts get small paid boosts ($50–100 per winner, budget provided separately). Month 3 review If installs are growing and content quality is consistent, the contract extends. If not, clean handover of all accounts, content assets, credentials, and the performance sheet within 48 hours. How to Apply Send a short note (not a CV) to [EMAIL] with: • One social account you grew — link to it, what you did, what the numbers were • One video you made — link to something you shot and edited yourself • Your availability — can you start within one week? • One question you have about the role No cover letters. No PDFs. Just the four items above. If we're interested, we'll send a paid test assignment within 48 hours.
