Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal production plans based on sales forecasts, project programs, and the growth cycle of each species. Determine requirements for seeds, cuttings, mother plants, containers, growing media, fertilizers, pesticides, labor, and space before each cycle begins. Maintain records of species, batches, ages, sizes, quantities, locations, health status, movements, and project reservations. Coordinate confirmed orders, delivery dates, and acceptable alternatives with Sales and Projects while preventing conflicting or duplicate inventory allocations. Supervise propagation by seed, cuttings, division, and other suitable methods, as well as pricking out, repotting, pruning, staking, spacing, and sale preparation. Set irrigation and fertigation programs by species, age, season, water quality, and growing medium, and monitor moisture, salinity, and drainage. Monitor growth, vigor, uniformity, form, rooting, and success rates and implement timely corrective action. Manage shade, acclimatization, and hardening programs before dispatch so plants can withstand transport and landscape-site conditions. Implement integrated pest and disease management covering monitoring, diagnosis, isolation, treatment, documentation, and safe use of materials. Analyze the root causes of mortality, waste, and weak growth and implement preventive and corrective actions. Inspect plants before dispatch against species, size, container, root and canopy quality, and freedom from pests or defects; document acceptance or rejection. Maintain sanitation of production areas, tools, and propagation sources and apply quarantine and isolation practices when infection is suspected. Allocate tasks to workers and supervisors, monitor productivity and quality, and train teams in safe work and responsible use of materials and water. Monitor irrigation networks, pumps, fertigation units, shade areas, and storage facilities and raise maintenance needs before production is affected. Prepare loading, sorting, tagging, packing, and transport orders and coordinate with project sites to reduce waiting time and plant stress. Issue production, inventory, mortality, consumption, and delivery reports and recommend improvements that raise survival and productivity and reduce waste. Experience in ornamental plant production or nursery operations Experience in the Gulf or hot, arid climates Practical knowledge of propagation, fertigation, irrigation, water quality, growing media, and pest and disease management Ability to identify landscape plant species and understand their growth requirements, commercial sizes, and delivery specifications Proficiency in records and reporting using Excel or an appropriate inventory and production system Agricultural planning that links crop cycles to project and sales demand Observation, diagnosis, and decisions based on plant condition and operating data Workforce leadership, resource allocation, and productivity measurement with a strong field presence Inventory, batch traceability, and dispatch quality control Efficient use of water, fertilizers, and materials with reduced environmental impact and waste Working Relationships Internal : Sales, Projects, Site Engineers, Procurement, Warehousing, Transport, and Maintenance. External: Plant and propagation-material suppliers, fertilizer and pesticide suppliers, laboratories, and relevant technical bodies
