Safely operate the sideboom for lifting, lowering, and moving heavy pipes and materials with precision. Perform pre-operational checks and routine maintenance on the sideboom to ensure optimal performance and safety. Interpret and follow lifting plans, engineering drawings, and site-specific safety procedures. Maintain constant visual contact with the load and surrounding work area to prevent accidents. Possess a valid Sideboom Operator certification from a recognized industry body. Have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience operating sideboom equipment in pipeline construction or heavy industrial settings.
