IT Technician / Field Support Technician Company: OVEEQ Technologies Location: Al Malaz, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Employment: Full-Time Experience: 2–3+ Years Salary: SAR 3,000/month (All-Inclusive) Vacancy: 1 Job Summary OVEEQ Technologies is looking for an experienced IT Technician / Field Support Technician to perform IT installations, structured cabling, maintenance and technical support at customer locations. The technician will handle routine field work independently and assist IT Engineers with larger infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Install and configure desktops, laptops, Windows and business applications. Install and troubleshoot printers and office peripherals. Diagnose common hardware, software, LAN and Wi-Fi issues. Install network switches, access points and related equipment. Perform structured cabling and network installations. Perform RJ45, patch-panel and keystone termination. Install and organize network racks and cabinets. Test, label and troubleshoot network cabling. Perform professional rack and cable management. Assist engineers with servers, firewalls and infrastructure projects. Provide first-line customer technical support. Replace and upgrade computer/network hardware. Escalate advanced issues to the IT Engineer. Complete service and installation reports after site visits. Technical Knowledge PC/laptop hardware • Windows • Microsoft 365 • Printers • Basic TCP/IP networking • LAN/Wi-Fi • Switches & access points • Structured cabling • RJ45 • Patch panels • Network racks • Cable testing & troubleshooting. Requirements Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on IT technician/field-support experience. Previous system-integrator or IT solution-provider experience preferred. Practical computer hardware, networking and structured-cabling knowledge. Diploma/Bachelor's in IT, Networking or related field preferred. A+, Network+, CCNA or similar certifications are advantageous. Good English communication; Arabic highly preferred. Saudi driving licence preferred. Transferable Iqama preferred. Willingness to travel regularly to customer sites throughout Riyadh. Compensation SAR 3,000/month – All-Inclusive Salary We are looking for a technician who can be assigned a routine installation or support task and **complete it correctly, neatly and professionally without requiring constant supervision**. The technician should have good practical troubleshooting skills while understanding when an advanced technical issue should be escalated to an IT Engineer.
