Perform adhesion tests (e.g., cross-hatch, pull-off) to verify the integrity and durability of applied coatings according to established standards. Measure coating thickness using calibrated gauges (e.g., PIG, Elcometer) to confirm it meets the required dry film thickness (DFT) as per material data sheets. Monitor surface preparation activities, including abrasive blasting and cleaning, to ensure optimal conditions for coating application and adhesion. NACE Level 2, BGAS Level 1, or BGAS Level 2 certification Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent; a Technical Diploma in a relevant field is advantageous.
