Prepare vehicle body panels for painting by cleaning, sanding and masking. Remove dust, grease, rust and other surface imperfections. Apply putty/filler and prepare surfaces for a smooth finish. Apply primer, basecoat and clearcoat using spray guns. Mix paints and thinners according to required specifications. Perform accurate color matching to the original vehicle shade. Carry out spot repairs and paint blending where required. Inspect painted surfaces and correct defects, runs, uneven coating or other imperfections. Polish and buff completed paintwork to achieve a high-quality finish. Maintain and clean spray guns, painting equipment and workshop areas.
