Install, configure, patch and upgrade Microsoft SQL Server. Implement and manage multi-node Always On Availability Groups across production and DR sites. Manage Windows Server Failover Clustering, AG listeners, quorum and failover/failback activities. Configure and support Log Shipping, Mirroring and Transactional Replication. Manage full, differential and transaction-log backups, restoration and database refresh activities. Monitor and troubleshoot CPU, memory, storage, database growth and transaction-log issues. Analyse execution plans and resolve SQL Server performance issues. Perform database migrations, upgrades, security hardening and encryption activities. Provide support in a 24×7 production environment. 6 to 8 years of hands-on experience as a SQL Server DBA. Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2–2022. Hands-on expertise in Always On Availability Groups and Windows Server Failover Clustering. Strong knowledge of disaster recovery, failover/failback, backup and restoration. Experience with Log Shipping, Mirroring and Transactional Replication. Good knowledge of performance tuning, execution-plan analysis and T-SQL. Experience in SQL Server patching, migration, upgrades and security hardening. Exposure to TDE, TLS/network encryption, ServiceNow, Commvault and SCOM is preferred. Experience in banking or other business-critical production environments is preferred. Immediate joiners or candidates who can join within 30 days are preferred.
