Design and create custom boxes using specifications provided by clients, ensuring dimensions and structural integrity are met. Select appropriate materials based on box type, weight, and intended use, optimizing for durability and cost-effectiveness. Utilize cutting, folding, and gluing equipment to manufacture boxes efficiently while maintaining high quality standards. Inspect completed boxes to ensure they meet quality control measures and make adjustments as necessary to rectify defects. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in packaging or manufacturing is a plus. Minimum of 2 years of experience in box making or a related field, demonstrating a solid understanding of materials and machinery. Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute designs accurately. Familiarity with various packaging materials such as cardboard, corrugated fiberboard, and plastics.
