Senior Application Specialist

About this opportunity

Administer and support enterprise application platforms, including Java, .NET, and containerized applications. Manage Linux-based application servers and OpenShift/Kubernetes platforms to ensure service availability and performance. Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to deliver application platform implementations, upgrades, and migrations. Support enterprise databases including Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB. Monitor application health, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis. Implement platform patching, security hardening, backup, and disaster recovery activities. Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using DevOps tools. Prepare technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and knowledge base articles. Participate in system architecture reviews, platform enhancements, and technology evaluations. Ensure compliance with security, governance, and operational standards.
