Davidson Management Consultants have been mandated to recruit western trained, native Arabic speaking Registered Nurses Orthopedic Scrub for their client in Abu Dhabi, UAE which is a large JCI accredited multispecialty hospital providing advanced surgical and inpatient healthcare services. The Orthopedic Scrub Nurse will work closely with Orthopedic Surgeons and the multidisciplinary theatre team across orthopedic surgical procedures including joint replacement, trauma and fracture fixation, arthroscopy and other elective and emergency orthopedic procedures appropriate to the hospital s surgical services. Prepare operating rooms, specialized orthopedic instrument sets, implants, prostheses and surgical equipment prior to procedures and maintain strict sterile technique throughout surgery. Anticipate the Surgeon s requirements during procedures, safely handle instruments and implants, perform instrument, needle and swab counts and ensure implant and device documentation is completed accurately. Candidates should have practical familiarity with orthopedic instrumentation, power tools, fixation systems and implant-related theatre workflows and demonstrate strong knowledge of aseptic technique, infection prevention, patient positioning, surgical safety and perioperative nursing standards. Work collaboratively with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, circulating nurses and other theatre personnel to ensure safe, efficient and patient-centered surgical care while maintaining JCI quality and patient safety standards. We are looking for Registered Nurses with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of recent full-time Operating Theatre experience with specific hands-on scrub nursing experience in Orthopedic Surgery. Candidates must hold a Bachelor s Degree in Nursing from a nationally recognized/accredited nursing college or university and must be eligible for professional registration/licensing in Abu Dhabi. Candidates must be western trained and native Arabic speakers with current or previous professional nursing registration in the country of practice.
