This is a genuine advocacy-focused opportunity, offering the chance to build on your experience in a dynamic Gulf legal market and take on substantive contentious work — rather than moving into a role focused primarily on drafting. Responsibilities • Handling a broad range of commercial disputes and contentious matters • Advising and representing clients on complex commercial and financial disputes • Developing and presenting advocacy strategies across a range of matters • Working on cases involving areas such as banking, insolvency and general commercial disputes • Preparing for and participating in hearings and other advocacy-related proceedings • Working closely with the wider disputes and legal teams on high-value and complex matters • Developing strong client relationships and providing commercially focused legal advice Requirements: 1. UK- or Australian-qualified Barrister 2. 2+ years' Call / PQE 3. Strong commercial disputes experience 4. Experience in one or more of the following areas: • Banking & Finance disputes • Insolvency • Commercial litigation • General commercial disputes 5. Strong advocacy and oral communication skills 6. Excellent legal research, analytical, and written skills 7. Commercially minded with the ability to advise clients effectively 8.
