About this opportunity

The Senior SRMU Testing & Commissioning Technician is responsible for the installation verification, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting and energization support of Smart Ring Main Units (SRMUs) used in medium-voltage electricity distribution networks. The technician shall verify the complete functionality of the SRMU, including medium-voltage switchgear, protection relays, fault passage indicators, motorized operating mechanisms, Remote Terminal Unit (RTU), communication equipment, auxiliary power supplies and SCADA/ADMS signal interfaces. Associate's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field. Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in testing and troubleshooting electrical or power systems. Proven expertise with multimeters, power analyzers, and other relevant test instrumentation. Familiarity with power quality standards and grid codes relevant to SRMU operation.
