Develop innovative facade designs that enhance the aesthetic and functional aspects of buildings while adhering to client specifications and project requirements. Conduct thorough material research to select optimal cladding and glazing options that meet sustainability and performance standards. Collaborate closely with architects and engineers to integrate facade solutions seamlessly with structural and mechanical systems. Utilize advanced software tools for 3D modeling and simulation to visualize facade concepts and present them to stakeholders effectively. Perform detailed calculations and analyses to ensure thermal performance, weather resistance, and structural integrity of facade systems. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and installation guidelines for contractors. Engage in site visits to assess existing conditions and ensure proper implementation of facade designs during construction. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to continuously innovate and improve facade design practices. Facilitate communication and collaboration among multidisciplinary teams to achieve project milestones and deadlines. Manage project timelines and budgets effectively, ensuring that design solutions are delivered on time and within financial constraints. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, or a related field with a strong emphasis on facade systems. Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in facade design, preferably in commercial and institutional projects. Professional certifications in facade engineering or related disciplines will be an added advantage. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite to create detailed facade drawings and presentations. Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards relevant to facade design and construction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and team members. A proactive and innovative mindset with the ability to think critically and solve complex design challenges.
