Oversee the daily operations of the mechanical team, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently according to project timelines. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other departments to integrate mechanical activities seamlessly into the overall project plan. Supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment, adhering to strict quality control standards. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards, ensure compliance with safety regulations, and maintain a high standard of workmanship. Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field. Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in mechanical supervision within the oil & gas or heavy industrial sector. Professional certifications such as PMP or relevant trade certifications (e.g., welding, pipefitting) are highly desirable. Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of mechanical technicians and tradespeople.
