Handle daily counter sales and customer enquiries at the building material shop. Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products. Generate new customers and develop business with contractors, maintenance companies, workshops, and construction-related clients . Conduct outdoor customer visits and develop new sales opportunities. Prepare quotations and follow up with customers to convert enquiries into orders. Maintain regular contact with existing customers and identify repeat-business opportunities. Coordinate with the warehouse and delivery team to ensure orders are processed and delivered on time. Check product availability, pricing, and stock before confirming customer requirements. Maintain proper records of customer enquiries, quotations, orders, and follow-ups. Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the business. Support the team in maintaining good customer service and shop operations. Product Knowledge Experience with any of the following products will be an advantage: Building Materials Hardware & Fasteners Plumbing & Sanitary Materials Electrical Materials Hand Tools & Power Tools Welding & Fabrication Consumables Abrasives & Cutting Discs Adhesives, Sealants & Chemicals Safety Shoes & PPE Steel & Metal Products Timber / Plywood and related materials Candidate Requirements Minimum 2 years of UAE experience in building materials, hardware, MRO, or related sales. Candidates with experience in building material shops / trading companies will be preferred. Good knowledge of commonly used building-material products and brands. Strong customer-service and communication skills. Ability to generate new customers and develop business. Must be comfortable with counter sales as well as outdoor sales . Valid UAE Driving License is preferred. UAE market knowledge and existing contractor/customer contacts will be an advantage. Ability to communicate in English and Hindi/Urdu is preferred. Must be hardworking, target-oriented, and willing to take responsibility.
