Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to create accurate forms for concrete pouring, ensuring precision in dimensions and angles. Select and prepare materials, including wood, metal, and plastic, to build sturdy frameworks that can withstand the weight of wet concrete. Construct and install shuttering systems with attention to structural integrity, ensuring they can hold the concrete until it sets. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to align on deadlines and specifications, ensuring timely and efficient project completion. Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent, with additional vocational training in carpentry preferred. Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in shuttering or formwork carpentry within the construction industry. Possession of certifications in safety standards and practices, such as OSHA or equivalent, is highly desirable. Familiarity with various shuttering systems and materials, including wood, metal, and plastic, showcasing versatility.
