Oversee the daily operations of mechanical or electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency. Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime. Develop and execute preventative maintenance schedules for critical equipment to extend lifespan and reduce unexpected failures. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to guide installation, repair, and modification projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production and maintenance, to integrate engineering solutions. Manage spare parts inventory and procurement, ensuring availability of essential components for timely repairs. Conduct performance analysis and generate reports on equipment efficiency, energy consumption, and operational costs. Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and environmental standards throughout all operational activities. Participate in the commissioning and startup of new equipment, verifying functionality and performance against specifications. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for process optimization and technological upgrades. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field. Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are highly desirable. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in operational engineering roles within manufacturing or industrial settings. Proven track record of successfully managing and troubleshooting complex mechanical and electrical systems. Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and simulation tools. Strong understanding of process control systems, PLCs, and industrial automation. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a methodical approach to issue resolution. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with diverse teams. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Physical ability to navigate industrial environments and perform hands-on tasks as required.
