Initiating and completing all applicable section of the permit to work. Review and issue work permits for various tasks, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Conduct pre-job safety meetings to discuss hazards and safety measures. Oversee work activities to ensure adherence to the permit conditions and safety standards. Act as a liaison between workers and management regarding safety and permit requirements. Ensure workers are aware of emergency procedures related to the work being performed. Verify that work is completed safely and close permits accordingly. Completion of safety training, including Permit-to-Work and specific certifications (e.g., confined space, hot work). Understanding various permit types (e.g., hot work, confined space) and the permit process.
