Job Code: 368/001/573 Industry: Food Safety / Training & Certification Services We are seeking a Business Development Executive – Food & Safety Training to develop new business opportunities for food safety, hygiene, and related professional training services. The role will focus on identifying prospective clients, generating new business, understanding client training requirements, promoting suitable training programmes, and developing long-term corporate relationships across the UAE market. Develop new business opportunities for food safety, hygiene, and related professional training services. Identify and approach prospective clients across the food & beverage, hospitality, catering, food manufacturing, restaurants, retail, and other relevant sectors. Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, client visits, referrals, and market research. Understand clients' food safety and training requirements and recommend suitable training programmes. Promote scheduled, corporate, and customised training programmes to prospective customers. Prepare quotations, proposals, and commercial offers and follow up until closure. Develop long-term relationships with HR, Training, Quality, HSE, Food Safety, and Operations departments of client organisations. Coordinate with trainers and internal teams to schedule and deliver training programmes according to client requirements. Maintain an active sales pipeline and achieve agreed business development and revenue targets. Identify opportunities for repeat training, corporate training contracts, and additional services. Products / Services: The candidate will be responsible for promoting training and related services covering areas such as: Food safety and food hygiene training Food microbiology training HACCP-related training Food Safety Management System training ISO 22000-related training Good Hygiene Practices (GHP) Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Person-in-Charge (PIC) related training/certification Laboratory and microbiology training ISO/IEC 17025 awareness and internal audit training Customised corporate food safety and technical training programmes Minimum of 3 years of relevant business development/sales experience within food safety training, professional training, certification, food safety consultancy, or a closely related industry. Good understanding of the food, hospitality, and F&B market in the UAE. Existing contacts within hotels, restaurants, catering companies, food manufacturers, or related businesses would be advantageous. Proven ability to generate new clients and develop corporate accounts. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Ability to understand client training requirements and recommend appropriate programmes. UAE market experience is preferred.
