Contract: 12 MonthsLocation: Dubai, UAE (On Site)OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Retail Technology Senior Project Manager to support a large-scale retail customer.The successful candidate will bring a strong background in retail operations and technology transformation, with experience working across store operations, supply chain, merchandising, finance and customer-facing systems. SAP S/4HANA experience is important, however a deep understanding of retail operating models and managed service procurement is considered the primary requirement.This is a 12-month onsite contract based in Dubai.Key ResponsibilitiesEngage with senior business and technology stakeholders across retail operations, merchandising, supply chain, finance, eCommerce and customer services.Define service scope, business requirements, support models, SLA frameworks and transition requirements.Develop and manage processes including requirements gathering, evaluation criteria, governance and vendor engagement.Facilitate briefings, workshops, clarification sessions and evaluation activities.Lead commercial and operational assessment of prospective managed service providers where required.Ensure proposed support models align with retail trading requirements, peak trading periods and operational resilience expectations.Manage programme governance, reporting and executive communications throughout the procurement lifecycle.Support transition planning and mobilisation activities.Experience RequiredEssentialExtensive experience within retail organisations.Experience delivering retail technology transformation programmes.Strong understanding of retail operating models including stores, supply chain, merchandising and finance functions.Proven experience leading large-scale RFP, outsourcing or managed service procurement activities.Experience working with complex stakeholder groups across business and technology functions.Strong governance, programme management and vendor-management experience.Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills.DesirableExperience of SAP S/4HANA environments.Experience of ERP support or Application Management Services sourcing.Understanding of SAP support models, service towers and AMS operating models.Knowledge of ITIL service management practices.Experience working with global system integrators and managed service providers.Highly DesirableRetail SAP programmes.Large-scale omni-channel retail environments.International retail transformation programmes.Experience operating in the Middle East region.
