Pump Maintenance : Dismantle, inspect, and repair centrifugal, boiler feed, seawater intake, condensate, and potable water pumps. Alignment & Balancing : Perform precision alignment of shafts, couplings, and bearings using laser alignment tools. Testing & Commissioning : Conduct hydrostatic, performance, and vibration tests post‑maintenance. Troubleshooting : Diagnose mechanical faults, vibration issues, and seal/bearing failures. Documentation : Maintain maintenance logs, inspection reports, and compliance records. Safety Compliance : Follow HSE procedures, permit‑to‑work systems, and PPE requirements during outage activities. Coordination : Work closely with project engineers, field service engineers, and rigging teams during pump removal/installation. Requirements Diploma / Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 5–7 years’ hands‑on experience with rotating equipment, specifically pumps. Strong knowledge of centrifugal, boiler feed, condensate extraction, and seawater intake pumps. Familiarity with QE standards, ASME/API codes, and OEM manuals.
