Lead and manage the Physics department in accordance with the school's academic standards. Develop and implement curriculum plans, schemes of work, and lesson plans. Supervise, mentor, and evaluate Physics teachers to maintain high teaching standards. Monitor students' academic progress, examination results, and overall performance. Ensure effective delivery of Physics lessons through practical demonstrations, laboratory experiments, and innovative teaching methods. Ensure laboratory safety, proper maintenance of equipment, and compliance with safety procedures. Prepare students for internal and external examinations. Coordinate departmental meetings, assessments, academic reviews, and improvement plans. Collaborate with school leadership and other departments to achieve academic objectives. Master's degree in Physics or a relevant subject is essential. Bachelor's degree in Physics or a related field is essential. B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification mandatory/required as per school policy. Minimum 5–8 years of teaching experience, with prior departmental leadership experience essential. Strong subject knowledge and experience in curriculum planning and assessment. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Experience in an international school and familiarity with the relevant curriculum will be an advantage.
