We are seeking an experienced Senior Stakeholder Engineer – Design to join our infrastructure project team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stakeholder interfaces, coordinating with government authorities and utility providers, securing necessary No Objection Certificates (NOCs), and ensuring stakeholder requirements are incorporated into design deliverables in accordance with project specifications, local regulations, and programme requirements. Key Responsibilities Lead stakeholder coordination and interface management for infrastructure design projects. Liaise with relevant government authorities, utility providers, developers, clients, contractors, and other stakeholders. Coordinate authority submissions, NOCs, permits, and design approvals in line with project schedules. Review stakeholder requirements and ensure they are properly incorporated into engineering design deliverables. Manage authority comments, track design revisions, and coordinate timely responses with multidisciplinary design teams. Identify and resolve design interface issues, utility conflicts, and stakeholder-related risks. Maintain stakeholder registers, interface matrices, approval trackers, and coordination records. Monitor changes in local authority regulations, design standards, and approval procedures. Coordinate with internal engineering disciplines to ensure compliance with Dubai authority requirements, including RTA, Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and other relevant entities. Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and Design Manager on stakeholder progress, outstanding approvals, and potential delays. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in stakeholder coordination, authority approvals, and infrastructure design projects. Proven experience working on infrastructure projects in Dubai or the UAE. Strong knowledge of Dubai authority requirements, NOC processes, utility coordination, and design approval procedures. Experience coordinating with RTA, Dubai Municipality, DEWA, and other relevant government authorities and utility providers. Previous experience with an engineering consultancy or design consultant is preferred. Excellent communication, coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
