Specific functions: Prepare preliminary list of equipment and materials with as much detail as possible (dimensions, weights, loading ports, delivery dates...). Assist the Logistics Coordinator in the creation of RFIs for tender process. Evaluate all commercial and technical bids after clarifying and needed negotiations. Revise, when possible, Purchase Orders issued by logistics department analyzing implications of the agreed INCOTERM. Mantain direct contact with all suppliers since Kick Off Meeting (KOM). Notify and confirm to all parties involved in the supply chain (Project Management, Client, Customs Agent, Site material receiving department...etc) all shipments that take place with their departure and estimated arrival at detonation port dates. Coordinate alongside vendor and 3PL, the correct compliance of the agreed delivery INCOTERMS, and the correct delivery of equipments and materiales so they can be shipped on the first available departure option. Gather all documents required for customs clearance formalities in country of destination and request the 3PL the correct import documents. Update information regarding all shipments in all tracking documents and tools. Support Customs Team to arrange the disposition of funds for payment of taxes and duties, if so, is stablished in the contract with our client. Support Logistics Coordinator in the process of tabulation and awarding of Purchase Orders. If required by Logistics Manager, assist physically to suppliers workshops or departure ports to witness loading ops for a particular material or equipment. Aid Purchasing department in purchasing stages providing them with budgetary quotations that will enable them to properly award. Competencies & Requirements: Relevant experience in Oil and Gas or Energy sector ; Knowledge & experience in Customs Clearance formalities ; Analytical and problem-solving skills; Perfect teamwork skills; Ability to work under pressure; High knowledge regarding International multimodal transport (sea, air, road & rail); High knowledge of types of industrial equipments and materials; Very good communication and interlocution skills, assertiveness and resilience; Knowledge in control and management tools required (including eFact and SAP tools ); Knowledge of office suite tools and programs required; Availability to travel whenever required.
