Project Manager - Finance Projects (5 Months)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver strategic Finance transformation and business-critical projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end project lifecycles, driving cross-functional collaboration, mitigating risks, and ensuring timely delivery of high-visibility initiatives. This role requires a strong project management background, excellent stakeholder management skills, and experience managing complex projects within Finance functions. Key Responsibilities: Lead projects from initiation through execution, monitoring, and closure. Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Apply appropriate project management methodologies including Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Hybrid approaches. Coordinate cross-functional teams across Finance, IT, Treasury, Tax, Accounting, and other business functions. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and governance frameworks. Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions to address risks and issues. Manage project budgets and ensure efficient utilization of resources. Facilitate steering committee meetings and present project updates to senior stakeholders. Drive stakeholder engagement and ensure project alignment with business objectives. Lead crisis management and rapidly resolve project challenges to maintain delivery momentum. Conduct post-project reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Promote best practices, project standards, and governance across Finance-led programs. Requirements (Qualification): Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Project Management, or a related field. PMP Certification is mandatory. PRINCE2, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or other Agile certifications are preferred. Experience 7-8+ years of project management experience. Proven experience managing large-scale Finance transformation or Finance-related projects. Experience delivering projects using Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid methodologies. Strong exposure to stakeholder management at senior leadership level. Experience handling critical, high-pressure, and time-sensitive projects. Demonstrated success in managing multiple concurrent projects.
