About this opportunity

As a Consultant Radiologist, you will be responsible for interpreting and accurately diagnosing images from various modalities including X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRIs. You will also perform and oversee interventional procedures such as biopsies, drainages, and injections under imaging guidance. Your expertise in all areas of radiology will be crucial in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the accuracy of reports. Key responsibilities: - Interpret and diagnose medical images from various modalities, including X-rays, ultrasounds, CT scans, and MRIs - Perform and oversee interventional procedures under imaging guidance - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnoses - Communicate effectively with patients to prepare them for procedures and explain the results of their imaging - Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures, reports, and patient interactions - Stay updated on advancements and changes in the field of radiology and implement new techniques and technologies as needed - Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives - Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to ensure the safety of patients and staff Requirements: - Medical degree and completion of a radiology residency program - Active medical license and board certification in radiology - Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing radiologist - In-depth knowledge of diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures - Proficient in reading and interpreting medical images - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - High level of attention to detail and accuracy - Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment - Willingness to stay updated on advancements and changes in the field of radiology
