Senior Accountant Construction Project

About this opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with construction industry experience to manage project accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and compliance. Key Responsibilities Prepare financial statements, management reports and MIS. Manage general ledger, project accounts, cost centres and work-in-progress (WIP) reporting. Monitor project costs, cash flow, retentions, bank guarantees and performance bonds. Handle accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations and payment tracking. Prepare budgets, forecasts and project financial analyses. Ensure VAT and IFRS compliance, maintain financial controls and coordinate audits. Requirements Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA/CMA preferred. 8 Years experience including 5 years Construction industry accounting experience is mandatory. Strong knowledge of project accounting, WIP, VAT and IFRS. Proficiency in QuickBooks and ERP accounting systems.
