Company: IIQAF Group Location: Dubai, UAE Industry: Airlines / Aviation Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary IIQAF Group of Companies is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Air Ticketing Executive to manage airline reservations, flight bookings, ticket issuance, and travel arrangements in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with domestic and international flight reservations, providing airfare quotations, processing ticket changes and cancellations, and ensuring accurate travel documentation. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of airline ticketing procedures, Global Distribution Systems (GDS), airfare calculations, and international travel requirements. Candidates with experience in airline ticketing, travel reservations, aviation customer service, or travel agency operations are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Handle domestic and international flight reservations, bookings, and airline ticket issuance. Process air ticket bookings, reissuance, cancellations, refunds, and itinerary modifications. Search and compare airline fares, flight schedules, routes, and available travel options. Prepare accurate airfare quotations based on customer preferences, travel dates, and budgets. Assist customers with flight reservations, ticket confirmations, travel itineraries, and booking inquiries. Operate Global Distribution Systems (GDS), including Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo, for airline reservations and ticketing. Calculate airfares, taxes, surcharges, penalties, and applicable service fees. Provide information about baggage allowances, check-in requirements, airline policies, and travel regulations. Coordinate with airline representatives and travel partners regarding ticketing issues and reservation requests. Manage ticket reissuance, date changes, name corrections, and refund requests in accordance with airline policies. Verify passenger details, passport information, visa requirements, and other relevant travel documents. Maintain accurate booking records, passenger information, payment details, and ticketing documentation. Monitor flight schedule changes, cancellations, and delays and communicate updates to customers. Handle customer complaints and resolve ticketing-related issues professionally. Ensure compliance with airline fare rules, ticketing regulations, and company procedures. Maintain excellent customer relationships through timely communication and efficient travel support. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or diploma in Travel and Tourism, Aviation Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred. Previous experience as an Air Ticketing Executive, Airline Ticketing Agent, Travel Consultant, or Reservations Executive is an advantage. Practical knowledge of airline reservation and ticketing procedures. Familiarity with GDS platforms such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo. Understanding of domestic and international airfare calculations, fare rules, ticket reissuance, and refund procedures. Knowledge of airline booking systems, flight schedules, and travel documentation requirements. Understanding of international travel regulations, baggage policies, and airline terms and conditions. Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to manage multiple bookings and meet deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
