Description We are seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer (Electrical/Civil) to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for various projects, ensuring that all aspects of the project are considered. The role requires collaboration with engineers and project managers, as well as a strong understanding of construction practices. Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical/civil engineering projects. Analyze project documents to determine scope and specifications. Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather information and clarify project requirements. Identify potential risks and provide mitigation strategies in estimates. Maintain and update cost databases and historical data for accurate future estimates. Participate in bid meetings and provide inputs for proposal submissions. Review and validate subcontractor and supplier quotations., Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all estimates. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering. Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., AutoCAD, CostX, or similar tools). Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and engineering principles. Excellent analytical and mathematical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and client interactions. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
