Job Summary The Senior Organizational Design Specialist leads and oversees the development and implementation of organizational design strategies and initiatives within an organization. They are responsible for analyzing current organizational structures, processes, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization. Additionally, Senior Organizational Design Specialists play a key role in designing and recommending changes to organizational structures, roles, and responsibilities to enhance efficiency, agility, and effectiveness. They also collaborate with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align organizational design efforts with strategic objectives and business priorities. Job Roles & Responsibilities Analyze business structures, procedures, processes, and the utilization of resources. Design and implement a variety of developmental initiatives, action plans, programs, and training materials. Interview personnel and facilitating targeted skills development initiatives. Consult with the human resources department to guide the utilization, development, or hiring of personnel. Lead business optimization initiatives by conducting individual or group training sessions for personnel. Contribute to the restructuring of departments to increase efficiency and align activities with business objectives. Optimize personnel utilization by increasing cross-functionality and interdepartmental cooperation. Measure the impact of interventions on staff performance, efficiency, employee retention, and job satisfaction. Advise executives and senior managers and recommending efficient and cost-effective solutions for identified challenges. Document processes and presenting progress reports to executives and senior managers. Additional Job Roles & Responsibilities Additional Responsibilities 3 Job Knowledge Extensive knowledge of organizational theory, design principles, and best practices to effectively analyze and optimize organizational structures. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are essential for assessing complex organizational challenges, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing innovative design solutions. Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools enables the interpretation of organizational data and the presentation of insights to stakeholders. Experience in project management and change management methodologies enhances the ability to plan and implement organizational design initiatives effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital for collaborating with stakeholders, facilitating workshops, and gaining buy-in for organizational design changes. ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
