Execute precise real-time positioning of drilling rigs and barges using advanced GNSS and acoustic systems, ensuring operational safety and efficiency. Conduct detailed bathymetric and sub-bottom profiling surveys to assess seabed conditions and identify potential hazards for drilling operations. Install, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated positioning equipment, including DGPS, USBL, LBL, and motion reference units, troubleshooting issues promptly. Process and analyze vast datasets from various sensors to generate accurate positioning reports, charts, and quality control documentation. Bachelor's degree in Geomatics, Hydrography, Surveying, or a related technical field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in offshore positioning and surveying, specifically within the oil and gas drilling sector. Possession of relevant professional certifications (e.g., RICS, FIG/IHO Category A) is highly desirable. Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting advanced positioning systems (e.g., Fugro, Teledyne, iXblue) and hydrographic software (e.g., HYPACK, QINSy).
