Process Engineer

About this opportunity

Design and develop food-processing equipment and complete processing lines, from concept through commissioning. Prepare process calculations, flow diagrams, P&IDs, equipment specifications and plant layouts. Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and automation engineers, equipment suppliers and fabrication teams. Supervise installation, commissioning and performance testing at customer sites. Optimise processing parameters, capacity, yield and energy consumption while maintaining product quality and safety. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Prepare technical documentation and operating procedures, and train customer teams. Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, oil, process or Industrial Engineering. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in process engineering, equipment design or processing-line development. Experience in cocoa, chocolate or other food-processing industries is preferred. Practical knowledge of equipment sizing, process calculations, P&IDs and plant layouts. Experience supervising equipment installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and process optimisation. Training or certifications in food safety, HACCP or hygienic equipment design are an advantage. Good English communication skills, ability to work independently remotely, and willingness to travel internationally.
