Technical Director – Marine Engineering We're looking for a Technical Director to lead technical operations, drive service excellence, and support strategic business growth within the marine and ship repair industry. Key Responsibilities: Lead and develop technical teams, department managers, and operational capabilities. Oversee complex ship repair and marine engineering projects. Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and financial performance. Develop technical strategies, new service capabilities, and continuous improvement initiatives. Support business development, client relationships, and long-term growth. Establish KPIs, workforce development programmes, and operational best practices. Requirements: Degree or diploma in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. 10+ years of experience in the marine industry, including ship repair and marine engineering services. Proven experience in a senior technical leadership or management role. Strong knowledge of marine machinery, repair methods, and engineering standards. Commercial acumen, including project costing, budgeting, and resource planning. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
