We are hiring IT Infrastructure, Operations & Security Specialist to join one of our major clients based in Abu Dhabi, UAE Job Location - Abu Dhabi, UAE Job Type - 6 months contract About Role Sr. Specialist - IT Infrastructure, Operations & Security to own and support our Microsoft 365 environment, workplace infrastructure, and day-to-day IT and security operations. Experience & Professional Qualifications 8+ years of experience across IT infrastructure, workplace technology, operations, and cybersecurity. Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. Relevant Microsoft, Azure, Security, Networking, or IT Service Management certifications preferred. Proven hands-on experience administering enterprise Microsoft 365 environments. Experience with Microsoft security technologies, including Entra ID, Intune, Defender, and Purview. Experience managing security incidents, external SOC providers, vulnerability remediation, and security operations activities. Working knowledge of Azure infrastructure and cloud services. Strong stakeholder management, vendor management, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Provide hands-on administration and support of IT and security controls across identity, endpoint, network, application, and data security domains. Own administration and operational support of the Microsoft 365 platform, including Entra ID, Intune, Defender, Purview, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and related administration portals. Support and maintain network infrastructure, security, connectivity, firewalls, and LAN/WLAN services through an MSP model (Cisco Meraki experience desirable). Provide support for workplace technology, including Windows and macOS endpoints, enterprise software, collaboration platforms, meeting room technologies, printers, scanners, and end-user services. Manage cybersecurity operations, including coordination with external SOC providers, incident response activities, vulnerability management, remediation tracking, and security monitoring. Support operational delivery of IT services, including incident, problem, change, asset, and access management processes. Support governance, risk, compliance, audit, business continuity, and information protection initiatives.
