Project Director – Interior Fit-Out Location: Dubai, UAE Main Contractor | High-End Interior Fit-Out We are seeking an experienced Project Director – Interior Fit-Out to join a well-established contractor delivering high-quality interior fit-out projects across Dubai and the wider UAE. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an accomplished professional with a strong track record of delivering complex, high-value interior fit-out projects, leading multidisciplinary teams and managing client relationships at the highest level. The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for project delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest standards of quality. The Role As Project Director, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across major interior fit-out projects, overseeing project teams from pre-construction through to completion and handover. Key Responsibilities Lead the successful delivery of multiple interior fit-out projects across Dubai. Take full responsibility for project performance, including programme, commercial outcomes, quality and health and safety. Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers, Construction Managers and wider delivery teams. Manage key client relationships, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers. Oversee project budgets, cost control, procurement strategies, variations and contractual matters. Drive programme performance, ensuring milestones and completion dates are achieved. Ensure the highest standards of workmanship, finishes and project execution. Identify and manage project risks, resolving complex operational and commercial challenges. Work closely with senior management to support business objectives, client retention and future project opportunities. Establish a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement across project teams. Candidate Requirements Significant experience in a senior project leadership role within the interior fit-out sector. A proven track record delivering large-scale, high-value interior fit-out projects. Strong knowledge of the Dubai and UAE construction market. Experience managing complex projects across sectors such as hospitality, commercial offices, retail, residential or luxury interiors. Demonstrable leadership experience managing multiple project teams and senior stakeholders. Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting, cost control, procurement and contractual management. Excellent client-facing, communication and negotiation skills. A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline is preferred. Previous experience working for a reputable interior fit-out contractor in the UAE is highly advantageous.
