Lead and supervise a crew of miners, ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently according to production targets. Implement and enforce strict safety protocols, conducting daily toolbox talks and hazard assessments to prevent accidents. Monitor operational performance, analyzing production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Manage equipment and machinery, overseeing routine maintenance and reporting any defects or malfunctions promptly. Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma in mining or a related field is advantageous. Possession of a valid Blasting Certificate and relevant safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, Mine Rescue) is essential. Proven track record of at least 5 years in underground or open-pit mining operations. Experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the mining industry.
