Role Description The General Practitioner – MOH is a full-time, on-site role based in Umm al-Quwain, United Arab Emirates. The practitioner will provide comprehensive primary care services, including patient consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up, in accordance with Ministry of Health (MOH) standards and clinical guidelines. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing acute and chronic conditions, prescribing medications, maintaining accurate medical records, and coordinating care with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals. The role also involves promoting preventive care, health education, and family medicine practices to support the well-being of individuals and families in the community. The General Practitioner will participate in clinical meetings, ongoing training, and quality improvement initiatives to ensure safe, evidence-based care. Qualifications Strong clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, with experience in diagnosing and managing a broad range of conditions. Competence in Family Medicine, providing care across different age groups and supporting long-term patient health. Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing staff and other healthcare team members to deliver coordinated patient care. Commitment to Training and continuous professional development, including adherence to MOH guidelines and best practices. Valid medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and recognized General Practitioner license; eligibility or registration with UAE MOH is required. Proven experience as a General Practitioner or similar role in a clinical setting, preferably within the UAE or GCC region. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse patient populations. Strong organizational and documentation skills, including proficiency in using electronic medical records. Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site clinical environment and make sound, timely clinical decisions. Salary 8k
