ERP IT Application Engineer – Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O

About this opportunity

We are looking for an experienced ERP IT Application Engineer with strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Finance functional expertise . The role will work closely with Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Operations and IT teams to understand business requirements, improve processes, support D365 F&O and deliver effective ERP solutions in a manufacturing environment. Hands-on D365 F&O Finance functional professional who can effectively bridge the gap between business requirements, Finance processes, and IT solutions , while working closely with the IT Applications Manager and business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Gather and analyse business requirements from Finance and other business stakeholders. Document As-Is and To-Be processes and identify opportunities for improvement. Configure, support and troubleshoot D365 F&O Finance functionality. Support GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, Financial Dimensions, VAT, Period Closing and Cost Accounting . Understand integration between Finance, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse and Production. Support ERP implementation, enhancements, testing, UAT, go-live and post-go-live activities. Prepare functional specifications, process flows, SOPs and user guides. Coordinate with D365 F&O implementation partners and technical teams. Provide user training and functional support. Identify opportunities to improve ERP processes, controls and system efficiency. Requirements Essential Requirements 10+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O . Strong functional experience in D365 Finance . Good understanding of SCM, Procurement, Inventory, Warehouse Management and Production. Experience in ERP implementation, enhancement or support projects . Strong As-Is / To-Be process mapping and business analysis skills. Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills. Preferred Experience in a manufacturing environment , preferably furniture, joinery, cabinetry or similar industries. Experience with Production Costing, Inventory Valuation and Manufacturing Finance. Knowledge of UAE VAT . D365 F&O Finance certification is an advantage. Experience with ERP integrations and Power BI is an advantage. Education Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, IT, Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline . CA, ACCA, CMA, CPA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.
