Greetings, we have a job opportunity for you. Chemist – Construction Chemicals / Dry-Mix Industry : Construction Chemicals / Dry-Mix Experience : 4–8+Years Qualification : B.Sc. Chemistry or equivalent Location : UAE Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Chemist with strong exposure to Construction Chemicals and Dry-Mix products. The role will involve product development, formulation, raw material evaluation, quality improvement, competitor benchmarking, and providing technical support at customer/project sites. Key Responsibilities Develop and improve construction chemical products such as renders & plasters, tile adhesives, tile grouts, masonry & repair mortars, screeds, self-leveling compounds, epoxy systems, and waterproofing products. Work on formulation development and optimization, ensuring products meet required technical and performance standards. Apply strong knowledge of construction chemical raw materials and identify suitable alternatives for cost and performance optimization. Conduct laboratory testing and evaluation of new raw materials to assess their suitability, quality, and impact on product performance. Carry out product trials, performance testing, and quality evaluations during product development. Requirements B.Sc. in Chemistry or equivalent qualification. 4–8+ years of relevant experience in Construction Chemicals / Dry-Mix industry. Hands-on experience with formulation, product development, and raw material testing. Practical knowledge of tile grouts and epoxy systems, including colour matching. Good understanding of construction chemical products, applications, and performance parameters. Strong English communication and interpersonal skills. Good working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other standard office tools. Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory , as the role requires regular site visits and customer support.
