Mason – Plastering & Block Work

About this opportunity

Carry out blockwork and masonry activities as per approved drawings and site instructions. Perform internal and external plastering with a smooth and even finish. Prepare and mix cement, sand, mortar, and plaster materials in the correct proportions. Set out walls, partitions, and blockwork using measuring tools, levels, and plumb lines. Ensure proper alignment, leveling, joint thickness, and finishing quality. Repair cracks, uneven surfaces, and defective plastering where required. Follow instructions from the Site Engineer, Civil Foreman, or Supervisor. Maintain tools, equipment, and the cleanliness of the work area. Follow site safety procedures and use the required personal protective equipment (PPE). Previous experience as a Mason in blockwork and plastering. Good practical knowledge of cement mortar preparation, wall construction, and plaster finishing. Ability to read basic measurements and follow site instructions. Ability to work effectively with a construction team. Physically fit and willing to work on construction sites. Immediate joiners are preferred.
