About ERADA Center for Treatment & Rehab: Our objectives is to ease the suffering of addicts’ patients and their families by restoring health, hope and determination” Erada Center for Treatment and Rehab in Dubai was established based on the vision of H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum and by the initiative of H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum. It aims to treat the disease of substance use disorders and alcohol addiction which negatively impact the wellbeing of individuals, families and society. Erada Center is a governmental entity committed to offer treatment and rehab services; promote awareness about addiction and to contribute in the scientific research in the field of addiction. GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION To provide cost-effective, high-quality nursing care to patients, ensuring optimal clinical care that enhances patient satisfaction and safety per approved policies, procedures, nursing standards, professional ethics, and environmental health and safety regulations. General Tasks: Deliver administrative and clinical patient care. Provide patient care in accordance with the center’s policies, procedures, nursing standards, professional ethics, and safety standards. Maintain clinical standards and the quality of patient care within the unit. Exhibit skills and ability to promote teamwork, empowerment, and workplace happiness. Align strategic and operational organizational objectives with individual goals. Adopt a mindset that facilitates effective and practical decision-making in the workplace. Be flexible, responsive, and adaptable to organizational changes and developments. Specialized Tasks: Responsible for implementing and delivering patient care following the center policies, procedures, and scope of services. Act as a clinical nurse to meet patient needs, providing care and identifying necessary and urgent medical interventions. Prioritize patient care based on ongoing assessments of unit needs. Communicate with the medical team about ongoing changes to treatment plans. Ensure patient and family health education using available center resources. Responsible for receiving, storing, and ensuring the availability of medications and medical equipment as per center policies and procedures. Collaborate with other medical services (e.g., Pharmacy, Laboratory, and Support Services) to ensure service provision needs are met. Report any adverse drug interactions or incidental occurrences according to the center policies. Accept feedback and corrective actions from the head of the nursing section/team leader to ensure patient safety. Assist in training and guiding newly appointed nursing staff in accordance with training plans approved by the Nursing department. Act as a team leader while providing direct patient care. Address challenges professionally and communicate effectively with the direct supervisor. Perform any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor within the job’s scope. Participate in committees, task forces, and other organizational activities as assigned by the center. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Health Sciences Management, or an equivalent field, along with specialized certifications in the same field. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience post-graduation, including 4 years in the same field.
