About The Role Our client is a Riyadh-based lighting solutions company that supplies lighting and lighting control systems to commercial, hospitality and residential projects across Saudi Arabia. They are hiring an electrical engineer who has sold lighting, not only specified it: someone who understands the product technically and knows how to turn it into an order. The role is commercial first and works alongside the company's Technical Engineer for lighting control projects. Performance is measured by sales closed, offers submitted and the conversion of offers into orders. Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (on-site; candidates relocate from Syria). Key Responsibilities Build relationships with consultants, contractors, lighting designers and project owners in Riyadh. Study project drawings and requirements and propose the right lighting solutions. Prepare technical and commercial offers and follow them through to closing. Manage product approvals with consultants and compliance with project specifications. Coordinate with the Technical Engineer on lighting control (LCS) and GRMS projects. Track sales targets and keep opportunities and visits recorded and up to date. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. 3+ years in lighting sales or lighting solutions, in a real sales role rather than a purely technical one. Knowledge of luminaire types and core lighting metrics (lux, CCT, CRI, IP rating). Able to read electrical and lighting drawings. Knowledge of systems and brands used in the market, such as Lutron, Dynalite or ABB. Fluent Arabic and good written and spoken English. Ready to relocate to Riyadh, with a valid passport. Preferred Qualifications Gulf market experience (UAE, Saudi Arabia or Qatar). Knowledge of lighting control protocols such as DALI and KNX, or of GRMS. Experience with lighting calculation software such as DIALux. What We Offer Salary of SAR 6,000 to 8,000 per month, based on experience. Tiered sales commission of 1%, 2% and 3%. Saudi residency (iqama) and health insurance. Five-day working week, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. How To Apply Submit your application through careers.jeserhr.com. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an initial screening interview. Applications are treated in strict confidence and reviewed on a rolling basis, so early applications are preferred. Applying is always free: JESER never charges candidates.
