As an Audio Visual Technician , you're not just overseeing A/V services for the hotel's conference center – you're spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Responsibilities Here's what you'll do during a typical day: Lead daily A/V operations: Oversee all audio/visual equipment management, services, safety compliance, and procedures, providing guidance and leadership to technicians to deliver exceptional guest service Oversee A/V event set up and breakdown: Attend banquet and catering meetings to review event details, supervise equipment set-up, and ensure proper tear-down and storage of equipment Provide exceptional client service: Address client needs, resolve issues, and provide troubleshooting support to ensure smooth event execution. Keep equipment running smoothly: Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of A/V equipment, ensuring it is fully functional and well-maintained Collaborate on technology initiatives: Work with corporate IT to implement technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with Hilton's IT strategy Monitor billing and cost management: Ensure accurate billing, track department costs and expenses, and manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers Qualifications What It Takes to Make the Stay At Hilton, Our Core Values Define What It Takes To Succeed Here And Guide The Qualities We Look For In Every Team Member A passion for spreading the light and warmth of Hospitality .
