Job Purpose Responsible for electrical engineering, installation, testing and commissioning activities for utility-scale Solar PV projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, quality and HSE requirements. Key Responsibilities Supervise electrical installation works for Solar PV projects. Oversee DC cabling, string connections, combiner boxes, inverters, transformers, MV/LV systems, switchgear and earthing systems. Review electrical drawings, SLDs, cable schedules, layouts, specifications and technical documents. Coordinate with EPC construction, civil, mechanical, QA/QC and commissioning teams. Conduct site inspections and ensure works comply with approved designs and project requirements. Review method statements, ITPs, RFIs and technical submittals. Monitor electrical construction progress and resolve site technical issues. Support testing, commissioning, energization and grid-connection activities. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors and other project stakeholders. Maintain technical records, inspection reports and handover documentation. Qualification & Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Preferably 8–12 years of experience, with relevant experience in utility-scale Solar PV/EPC projects. Good knowledge of DC/AC systems, inverters, transformers, MV/LV systems, switchgear, protection and earthing. Experience in electrical testing and commissioning preferred. Ability to read and interpret SLDs, electrical drawings and technical specifications. Strong knowledge of QA/QC and HSE requirements. GCC/UAE Solar PV experience preferred.
